Exciting stuff happening here...

First of all, there is a lawnmower going right outside the window here (again) and the sun is shining bright and beautiful. I love living here!

Secondly, I am all set to teach a scrapbooking class at Paper Cottage on using your computer in your scrapbooking. It's going to be way fun. Plus the fact that I'm ready for it and it doesn't start until May 17th is just mind-blowing to me. I'm on top of things!

And finally. Yesterday I got a phone call from Boise State University. They want me to interview for a position in the Student Union as the Student Program Coordinator for Fine Arts. The job description perfectly fits everything I've done at NDSU, so I am confident it will go well. It would mean a salary, benefits, and having my evenings and weekends back! Getting offered this job will mean some major decision-making for me but I must say, I'm ready for that. Here we go!

And that's my story for this Friday morning. Have a great weekend!

How one thing leads to another...

Let's talk about everything happening at once. (then we can get to the reasons behind me not posting for a month...)

There once was a girl who didn't have a job. She searched and searched, but found nothing. Her friends would give her writing projects here and there, but never enough to feel like a real job.

Then one day she went shopping at the local scrapbook store. Before she knew it, she was working 30-40 hours a week at the store, had seven writing assignments and was trying to get moved into a new home. In short, she ran out of hours in her previously long days. She became stressed, tired and crabby.

Luckily, she had a husband who knew how to step up when needed. She plowed through her writing assignments, got settled into a schedule at work and lived happily to tell about it in her lovely new home.

The end.

P.S. I swear as soon as we get some furniture in this joint, I will post pictures... Just don't hold your breath! They are coming... eventually :)
